Growing up, Kunika struggled with painful bloating, skin issues, and hormonal imbalances that affected her confidence. Discovering sea moss changed everything, it helped her feel balanced, energized, and like herself again. She began sharing it with family and friends, who quickly became sea moss lovers too.

Akashni

Co-Founder & Operations

From the beginning, Akashni saw how powerful Kunika’s journey was, encouraging her to share her story openly at farmer markets. This helped create a community of people who felt heard, supported, and inspired. From day one, her focus has been on building a brand connected through community.

2020

The Beginning

It started in our home kitchen, experimenting with traditional sea moss recipes passed down through David's family. We wanted to create something that combined ancient wisdom with modern taste preferences.

2021

Making It Real

Friends and family couldn't get enough of our sea moss gels. We knew we had something special. We invested in proper equipment, secured our first commercial kitchen, and Cure Superfood was officially born.

Growing Our Family

We launched our first flavors online and partnered with local health food stores across Ontario. The response was overwhelming. Our community grew from dozens to thousands of customers who trusted us with their wellness journey.
